Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Al's Basement is a single-player game for Mac, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro.

Data Collection

Al's Basement does not collect personal data.

The game does not include ads, third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, account login, network multiplayer, or telemetry.

On-Device Data

The game stores progress, high score, controller bindings, and audio settings locally on your device using system storage. This information is used only to provide game functionality.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your game progress (current run, unlocked rooms, trophies, records, and daily streak) is synced between your devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so you can continue on another device. This data is stored in your own iCloud account; the developer cannot access it. Settings and controller bindings are not synced. You can turn this off in your device's iCloud settings.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the game reports achievements and leaderboard scores (high score, Boss Rush time, and Midnight Daily score) to Apple's Game Center. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The developer does not receive any personal data from it.

Network Use

Al's Basement does not require a network connection for gameplay. iCloud sync and Game Center use the network when available.

Children

Al's Basement is not designed to collect information from children or any other players.
